In short
Tintplan has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your photos, pages, colors and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to me.
Data in the app
Photos you take or choose, the pages you create, your fills, your list of owned pens and your settings are stored in the app's storage on your device (in the browser's IndexedDB and local storage for the web app). The images are processed on your device. You can delete a page in the app, or all data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
The Android app asks for camera access only to take a photo of a coloring page when you tap "Take photo". When you export or share an image, it goes to the app you choose in the share sheet; what happens there is up to that app.
The legal basis is that this storage is needed for the features you use (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Website hosting
The website and the web app are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to Cloudflare's servers, including your IP address, the requested address, the time and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare uses this data to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). Details: Cloudflare privacy policy.
Android app and Google Play
The Android app is distributed through Google Play. Google processes data about your download and, if you allowed it in your Android settings, anonymous crash and performance statistics that I can see in Google Play Console. I receive no personal data from this. Google is responsible for this processing: Google privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg. As the app keeps your data on your device, you can see, export and delete it yourself at any time.
Contact by email
If you write to me, your address and message are used only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.
Changes
This policy is updated when Tintplan changes, for example when purchases are added. The date above shows the current version. See also the legal notice.
